  5. Mouse Odometer is a shareware utility that measures your mouse's
  6. mileage as it moves around in Windows.

  11.    o  Maintains total and daily mileages
  12.    o  Option to show mileage when iconized
  13.    o  User selectable units of measurement
  14.    o  Automatic reset of daily mileage at midnight
  15.    o  Automatic save of mileage every 5 minutes.

  17. Installation
  18. ------------

  20.    If you are upgrading from v1.1 or earlier versions. Please
  21.    delete modm.ini in your windows directory before installing this
  22.    new version.

  24.    1) Unpack MODM20.ZIP
  25.    2) Copy CTL3D.DLL to your windows/system directory
  26.        *** Important notes: ***
  27.        (a) If you already have CTL3D.DLL, you should check the date
  28.             of both files, and use the latest one.
  29.         (b) THREED.VBX, from Mouse odometer v1.33 or older, is no
  30.             longer required. You can delete this file if you are
  31.             ABSOLUTELY certain that it is not used by other Windows
  32.             programs.
  33.    3) Copy MODM.EXE and MODMDLL.DLL to a directory of your choice
  34.    4) Create an icon in program manager's Startup group so that
  35.       Mouse Odometer will run everytime you start Windows.

  37. About your evaluation copy
  38. --------------------------
  39.  
  40.    You are given a free trial period to evaluate this software. This
  41.    trial period expires when your mouse's mileage reaches 1 mile (or
  42.    1 Km). At that time, the odometer will reset to zero, and you
  43.    should either register or discontinue using this software. The
  44.    registration fee is US$5.00. Please send check or money order to:
